Our Agroecology Practices
This album brings you straight to the heart of our agricultural movement. Here, we share the proud milestones of our agroecology fields and the incredible harvests born from sustainable care. These photos display the tangible results of organic practices: healthier crops, restored soils, and diverse produce grown in harmony with nature. This is what food security looks like when it is rooted in climate-smart, community-led stewardship

Ufundi Rahisi
Through our Ufundi Rahisi initiative, we are bringing practical vocational skills and hands-on community gardening directly to schools. We believe that empowering young people—especially ensuring inclusive spaces for students with special needs—with real-world, accessible technical skills is the key to long-term self-reliance. Check out these proud faces mastering new crafts and growing their own futures!

Pastoralist Communities Engagement in agroecology
One of the most inspiring highlights of our gatherings in Terati and Kikatiti is the active inclusion and support of men. In these traditional pastoralist settings, men are the influential leaders of their clans. Recognizing the vital importance of this environmental and economic work, these men made a conscious decision to join the women’s groups to stand behind and practically support their wives. They participate actively in the field, helping to implement agroecology practices and championing the movement within the wider clan, bringing vital community backing to the initiative.
While men serve as vital allies in the field, they have intentionally stepped back from governance to ensure the movement remains entirely women-led. All leadership positions remain strictly in the hands of the women themselves, with every group operating under its own elected Chairlady, Secretary, and Account Keeper. Through this empowering leadership structure, the women completely manage their own VICOBA (Village Community Banking) loans. This financial autonomy allows them to pool their savings, access small loans, and independently fund both their sustainable farming projects and their family initiatives

Msichana Wangu Initiatives
Every picture in this album represents a future protected. In rural Tanzania, upper-primary school girls (Standard 5–7) face immense challenges managing puberty, often forcing them to miss school or risk exploitation just to access basic sanitary products. TUPO Foundation steps into this gap, delivering sustainable Dignity Packs (reusable towels, underwear, and soap) alongside vital health education.
Leaving No Girl Behind: True inclusion means seeing every child. We have expanded our reach by introducing a specialized program designed to embrace and support the unique needs of girls with special needs. These photos capture the smiling faces of our girls, the powerful involvement of their mothers, and our committed women mentors leading the way. Thank you for standing with us to keep our girls safe and learning!
